The WeDidIt team is going to start updating this blog with daily posts. We want to keep the blog up to date with the things we find interesting, relevant, exciting, enticing…basically anything we deem germane to the work we do here.
The first few posts are going to be introductions/bios of the WeDidIt core team members, starting with me.
I’m Mark. I was born in Santa Barbara, CA and moved to (just-outside-of) London, England when I was six. I lived in the UK until I was eighteen, when I came back to the US for university (yes, I can do an accent, but these days it only seems to come out when I speak to other Brits). I studied English & Music in college, so a good amount of the work I do with WeDidIt involves getting things into writing and giving them some sort of soundtrack. This means that I get to compose music as part of my job, and for this I count myself extremely lucky.
When I’m not helping non-profits fundraise I’m either in Fort Greene Park running, out at a concert (I’m a contributing writer for Elmore Magazine), or comfortable at home, endlessly appreciating 30 Rock and Top Gear. If you want to get me talking, you can ask me why The Empire Strikes Back was the best of the Star Wars films, why Catch-22 is probably the best book of the 20th century, or where to grab the best pint in (just-outside-of) London.
